What is a Multistate Relay™?

Multistate Relays™ are relay channels that are software configurable to be standard or solid-state powered relay outputs.

In "Standard Relay" mode when you turn a channel on the two wires are shorted together like a light switch. 

In "Solid-state Relay" mode when you turn a channel on, one wire is negative and the other wire is positive provided by the power supply you use to power your IgorBox (typically 12VDC)
